Silke Communications shared Police Unity Tour Oregon (riding w/ Southern CA Chapter7's post.
Thank you to the SOCALPUT team and its amazing efforts to support survivors.
There are a lot of moving parts during the Police Unity Tour. One of those moving parts is what we call in the cycling world "the peloton." We pushed off from New Jersey with 380 riders, so our peloton can span easily over a mile long riding two by two. With the help of Silke Communications and Hytera Radio, we safely and effectively moved our riders from New Jersey to Washington DC. Spanning from anything from keeping in communication with the lead riders to let them know how the peloton is doing, to letting ride marshals know to look for dropped items, and preplanning aid from our mechanic trailer with the help of Silke Communications and Hytera Radios. We are excited and thankful for their partnership.
