Formed in 1972, CCRS has evolved as University of Delaware’s center for community outreach. With two locations in the state—downtown Wilmington and UDEL’s Newark campus—CCRS works to strengthen the capabilities of organizations and individuals working to improve socioeconomic, cultural and physical conditions of neighborhoods in Delaware. Using state of the art research methods, CCRS provides high quality training initiatives. Coupled with our research and service programs, the center enhances the ability of local government, nonprofit agencies, philanthropic organizations and citizens to create thriving communities.
