American Free Spirit Karate Association was founded in 1982 by Jon M. Stephens. AFSKA is the national governing body of Free Spirit Karate Clubs.
Grand Master Stephens' goal is to teach as many students as possible with the help of a team of dedicated students spreading the art of Tae Kwon Do to all our communities. He sees it as a mission of self protection from bullies, and people that would harm the weaker. Doing nothing is 100% guarantee that you will be assaulted!
Free Spirit Karate Clubs are very active in the community and have spent numerous hours promoting Tae Kwon Do and other martial arts. We have locations in Ashville, Blacklick (Eastpointe Church), Bloom-Carroll, Buckeye Lake, Canal Winchester, Columbus (Jewish Center), Groveport, Lancaster, Pataskala, Pickerington, Reynoldsburg, Westerville, Whitehall and Worthington.
