Simplex Americas LLC started in 2003 as the Exclusive sales and service organization offering Simplex Compact Stern tube seals, Simplan shaft seals and Turbo Oily Water Separators; all of which are manufactured by SKF Marine in Hamburg, Germany. We have grown to 22 people including 13 full time service engineers in the field. These service engineers come from the shipyard side and therefore have a great deal of marine propulsion experience, having completed various factory training courses including those offered by Wartsila, Rolls Royce, Schottel, as well as our exclusive principals Nakashima, Niigata, SKF, Kumera and Jastram etc.
In summary, we offer new equipment and 13 high level, full-time Service Engineers, experienced in all aspects of propulsion equipment from Main Engine to Propeller. Specialists for Diesel Engines, Gearboxes, Hydraulic Couplings, Rudders, CPPs, Thrusters, Z-Drives, Shaft Line and Stern Tube Bearings, Submarine Propulsion Systems, Stern Tube Seals, Electronic Controls, Oily-Water Separators and Oil-Content Monitors.
