SeniorServ has been the catalyst behind the development of a multitude of services and programs which serve the senior population in Orange County. We are now the largest safety net non profit agency for older adults in California.
We are an advocate and a leader in providing critical services to help seniors remain independent and in their own homes. Our goals include being able to develop therapeutic meals for elders with diabetes, renal disease, and other chronic health problems, and to be able to develop and serve a more diverse menu.
SeniorServ is a nonprofit corporation, duly incorporated in 1967 under the laws of the State of California and has been assigned a tax exempt Status under Section 50 I (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
NONPROFIT SERVICE PROGRAMS
Meals on Wheels - Home Delivered Meals For homebound senior citizens 60 and older who are unable to shop and/or prepare meals for themselves, SeniorServ delivers three meals directly to their homes--a cold lunch, a frozen dinner (which can be heated in microwave or oven), and breakfast items.
Senior Lunch Program Hot, nutritious lunches are provided at 26 group settings Monday through Friday to people 60 years and older.
Buena Park Senior Day Care The Buena Park Senior Day Care Program offers support and temporary respite to families and friends who are caring for a frail, older loved one.
Friendly Visitors The Friendly Visitor Program meets the needs of both the isolated older adult and the needs of caring volunteers. Volunteers are linked with seniors that would benefit from receiving social interaction. In many of the cases, meaningful relationships result from this program.
Adult Day Health Care Centers The Anaheim and Santa Ana/Tustin Adult Day Health Care Centers offer comprehensive daytime care and licensed medical supervision to functionally-impaired adults. With a focus on rehabilitative therapy, the program is designed to maintain or enhance an individual's physical and mental abilities with the aid of licensed therapists and medical personnel.
