We are a Bible believing/teaching fellowship of friends. The Bible says in Acts 17:10-11 that the people in Berea were more noble than those in Thessalonica because the studied the scriptures daily. We seek wisdom that comes from the scriptures, Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”. The long range plan is to teach through the Bible verse by verse. Why verse by verse? Isaiah 28:9 :Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.” In the context of the verse we see that GOD teaches us all not just the “super holy”. It would seem that the most sensible way to mature as a Christian would be to go verse by verse.
