The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center is a history museum located on the former "Heart Mountain Relocation Center" which housed more than 14,000 Japanese Americans during WWII. We are located on a National Historic Landmark site and, in addition to the Center, there is a war memorial built by incarcerees, an original Heart Mountain barrack, a walking tour and other camp structures. The site is governed by the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
