This page is an inhouse event and scheduling central hub of sorts. But we hope to make it more than that, perhaps it can be a place where we can share our church memories and build community with our extended church family. Also, to get to know one another a bit better, albeit virtually. :)
Think of this page as the front porch era of years ago - -- you know, where we'd grab some sweet tea (or strong coffee) and sit down on the porch swing for a chat. We can interact with one another here. Just be patient because we do have comments on moderation. What that means is that when you go to post a comment you'll notice it won't go to the page immediately. It will have to be approved by a moderator. While my life is all about the internet, I may be just a wee tied up at the moment. Never fear the post will go through eventually. Also, while we are all about community, chatting and seeing sides of one another we may not always see during church services, do remember that we are on a public forum. A rule I learned long ago, if you don't want it etched in stone forever do not put it on the internet.
So many of us have on our FB pages snippets of church life. Remember if you tag this page then we can all see the pictures and comments. We do want to see those cute nursery kids. Please be aware, however, that not everyone wants their kids pics up. It's prudent to get permission if you haven't somehow edited the picture to obscure recognition.
