"That experience, it's why we do what we do." When Graham Hunt, a Red Cross volunteer from Missouri, headed to Florida to assist the relief efforts following Hurricane Irma, he couldn't have imagined the heartwarming affect he would have one young man and his family.

Hurricane Maria left behind widespread devastation in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is the most intense hurricane to hit the islands in more than 80 years, destroying hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses, schools and hospitals in both territories.
