Lamont Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Lamont Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses, organizations, and residents, who come together to improve the communities of Lamont and Weedpatch. The Chamber has been working hard for many years to help make the communities of Lamont and Weedpatch better places both for the residents who live here, and for the businesses that are doing business here.

Some of our recent accomplishments include:

- Promoting the community and local businesses through production of a Lamont Community Map, an annual community display at the Kern County Fair, and advertisements in trade and tourism publications.
- Making Lamont a more beautiful place to live and do business through community clean ups, beautification projects, and banners on Main Street.
- Supporting community residents and groups who are doing great work through fundraisers and donations to community projects, programs, youth scholarships, and residents.
- And most exciting, installing “Welcome to Lamont and Weedpatch” signs along Highway 184 (Weedpatch Highway).

We now ask you to join with us to continue and expand the work of the chamber by becoming a member. Joining is easy, inexpensive, and invests in the local community, our residents and fellow businesses.

We also hope that you will join us for one of our monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:00 noon at the Lamont School District Board Room in Lamont.
