Since 1988, the Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA),a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has partnered with the Forest Service to interpret and protect the unique historic resources of the Chimney Rock Archaeological Area. Through CRIA's Chimney Rock Interpretive Program, volunteers conduct guided tours, monitor and maintain sites, and educate the public on the importance of protecting archaeological resources.
