Before leaving the shelter all animals will be spayed or neutered; canine residents will also be de-wormed, given the parvo/distemper vaccine and checked for heartworms. Feline residents will be given the rhino/distemper vaccine, de-wormed and checked for feline leukemia. An adoption contract will be signed at the time of adoption.
