Cub Hill: Beyond The Walls 2009 brought us our newest outreach, Beyond The Walls! This growing ministry has allowed us to reconnect with friends and previous members who are no longer in the immediate neighborhood! We offer a wide range of ways to stay in touch with Cub Hill including sermon cds and bulletins, monthly In Defense of Truth radio broadcasts, and a monthly newsletter all mailed to your home! Ladies Bible Study The ladies of the church meet once a month to pray together and study the Word of God. Join them the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM as they dive into such topics as grace, encouragement, and character studies from the Scriptures. Currently, Esther 2-3 is being discussed.
Wednesday Night Prayer and Study Each Wednesday evening at 7 PM, our faithful family members come together to discuss deep and "meaty" portions of the Bible as well as enter the Throne Room of our Lord in prayer. They're working their way through Psalm 119 presently. Everyone is welcome to attend. Feel free to message us with prayer requests as well.
Fellowship Luncheon and Forum Every month, on the second Sunday, we gather in the fellowship hall right after our morning service to discuss the morning's message and indulge in a favorite church pasttime - potluck lunch! This event is always open to whomever would like to attend, and a dish or dessert to help feed the crowd is appreciated!
Movie Monday and Matinee This year we've begun coming together one Monday a month to enjoy a film that speaks in some way to our faith in Jesus. Previous showings have included "Fireproof," "Expelled," "Pilgrim's Progress," and "End of the Spear." Monday showings begin at 7 PM and include popcorn and soda (all free of charge). Matinees are shown on the following Saturdays at 2 PM - also with popcorn and soda! Keep your eyes open for future movie events!
