It all began when Patrick was on a hike with his dog Zuke in 1995. He noticed that Zuke had become exhausted, so he broke off a piece of his energy bar for him and Zuke perked right up. It was then that Patrick realized pets need healthy, natural treats just as much as people do. That's why we make sure Zuke's is made with only the finest natural ingredients and no harsh additives or preservatives.
And our connection to our pets goes past making treats. We live, work and play with our pets by our side. And although there is no official policy in place, there is wide latitude given to all of Zuke's canine employees. They can come to work whenever they want, their humans can take a break at any time to feed, walk, play or care for them, and they are permitted to sleep on the job.
