With over thirty years of experience in the field of environmental research and development, Dr. Robert L. Carroll founded RLC Technologies, Inc. in 1997. He currently serves as the Company’s President and CEO.

Based in Richmond Virginia, RLC Technologies sought out to develop a superior technological solution for the remediation and recycling of oily wastes, soil, sludge, and other materials containing a wide range of organic contaminants.

Built around the indirect thermal desorption process, RLC Technologies Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Units (ATDU) have been employed on numerous successful thermal remediation projects around the world and RLC has become recognized as the leader in the design and operation of thermal remediation systems for the oil and gas industry.

Our technology allows operators to avoid costly hazardous waste disposal fees by treating wastes in an environmentally friendly manner while allowing for valuable components such as hydrocarbons and calorie rich carbon char to be recovered and sold back into market. Our ATDU technology is used domestically to de-list hazardous waste from refinery and drilling operations.

RLC Technologies qualified staff of engineers and fabricators manufactures equipment with quality components and to the highest standards of workmanship. As our ATDU systems are put into operation on job sites around the world, components are built onto modular skids to allow for simple transportation and erection once on site.
