Perkins Oil Company was formed in 1962 as a Pennzoil distributor by Chester Perkins and his son, Roger. In 1968, Chet’s other son, Vince, joined the company. Originally located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, the company was founded on the roots of hard work and outstanding customer service. In 1977, the company moved to a 15,000 square foot facility on Dempsey Road in Madison. As Perkins Oil continued to grow, they moved to a 35,000 square foot facility, on Pflaum Road in 1999, where they currently remain. Perkins Oil has an additional warehouse location in Sparta, Wisconsin, with plans to expand both locations by a combined 25,000 square feet in 2015.
Today, Perkins Oil Company is proudly run by a third generation owner in Richard Perkins. Richard began working for the company when he was just fourteen years old and has helped it grow into the proud company it is. The sales and customer support staff of Perkins Oil offer extensive knowledge and experience, while holding strong to the beliefs of hard work and customer service that the company was founded on over 50 years ago.
