Tri-State Facade Services was started in 1986 when Brothers Jim and Dave Grady purchased the Maintenance Company of Danbury which was originally a window cleaning and janitorial service company. The brothers sold off the janitorial portion and focused all of their energy into expanding the window cleaning business. Two years later in 1988 Jim and Dave purchased Nanuet Window Cleaning and merged the company with their already successful window cleaning business, Tri-State High Rise Services. Over the years Jim and Dave have purchased numerous window cleaning companies and merged them into one under the new name, Tri-State Building Facade Services.
