Since 1952, Memorial has been blessed to be a part of Chattanooga. Over the years, our ministry has grown to meet the ever-changing needs of those we serve. In order to continue our work, we’re investing $318 million in a Master Facility Plan that will allow us to construct new facilities and upgrade infrastructure that will serve future generations of Memorial patients at our Glenwood campus as well as in Hixson.

The Hixson component will include renovations of the Intensive Care Unit, new treatment rooms in the Emergency Department, a new SPEC/CT scanner, and an increased GI Endoscopy suite. And, our guests will enjoy the additional parking and three new elevators that will increase accessibility to the campus.

The Glenwood campus will provide new medical towers, a new physical plant, and, a child care facility for some of the youngest members of the Memorial family.

This investment will provide immediate employment for over 500 individuals in the construction industry which will have a direct impact on our local economy. As construction continues, we think you are going to like what you see. Our team is committed to doing all we can to provide the highest levels of patient care. You could say, this project is ‘inspired’ to do great things for the region.
