Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory capable of blood, urine and fecal analysis makes diagnostic testing fast, accurate and affordable. Screening wellness tests for geriatric patients are often completed during your appointment to provide peace of mind and early treatment if abnormalities are detected. Our in-house lab also ensures critical patient assessment is thorough and accurate to facilitate quick diagnosis and the start of appropriate treatment.

Dentistry

As with people, oral disease can progress to multi-organ infection with serious potential complications. At LazyPaw Animal Hospitals, we feel prevention and ongoing maintenance is the very best way to keep your pet’s mouth as healthy as possible. We offer free dental care samples including brushes, toothpaste and clinically proven dental tartar reducing treats, as well as complimentary training in how best to brush your pet’s teeth. In severe cases of oral periodontal disease, a thorough dental cleaning and soft tissue oral examination under general anesthesia may be recommended. This is interventional and treatment care, not maintenance. Advanced blood tests and strict anesthetic monitoring throughout the entire procedure is Standard of Practice in our hospitals.
