Redwood Hill Farm began in 1968 as parents Kenneth and Cynthia Bice acquired our first goat, a nubian doe. She was named 'Flopsy', for her long, floppy ears. The farm grew quickly as the Bice kids became 4-H members and showed their goats and other livestock at the Sonoma County Fair. Jennifer, the eldest of 10 kids, took ownership of the farm in 1978 and has become renowned as one of the pioneers of artisan goat cheese crafting. Jennifer has maintained a commitment to excellence for over 50 years, quality you can taste in Redwood Hill's delicious, probiotic yogurts, kefir, and artisan cheeses. For Jennifer, it all begins with the goats, as Redwood Hill Farm is home to National Show winners that are some of the finest registered dairy goats in the country. In 2005 Redwood Hill Farm was honored to be the first Certified Humane® Goat Dairy in the United States.
Currently our farm has about 300 goats, and each goat has its own name and distinct personality. The four dairy goat breeds at Redwood Hill Farm are Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian & Saanen.
A sustainable farm, certified humane raised & handled goats, award-winning artisan cheeses, top selling, delicious yogurts & 's a great life for the animals, employees, and the family at Redwood Hill Farm and Creamery!
