The beer garden is your classic Texas ice house. Big rolling garage doors on the front and back open the joint up to the great outdoors in nice weather. Spacious interior, big old tables. Cheap beer, cheap pitchers. Mostly an older crowd; Carlos's has been here forever. A friend of mine has had her retirement party here. Twice. The back patio is covered with a tent awning. It's an excellent place for an after work get together. Or a committee meeting; I always get better attendance when I schedule my committee meetings here at 5:00 on a Friday.
They serve a limited menu of typical bar food. Decent burgers; juicy. Big baskets of hot wings go down well with the house red wine.
I don't patronize the barbershop; I don't think they serve beer, wine or wings in there. But friends of mine get cut there and they don't look too ;
