The New Orleans Jazz Market’s home is on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard. Formerly Dryades Street, this Central City neighborhood produced Jazz legends such as Buddy Bolden, Kid Ory and Jelly Roll Morton. The neighborhood was flourishing, culturally diverse and home to African American, Jewish and Italian merchants in the early to mid-1900s. In the years since Hurricane Katrina, Central City has experienced a resurgence in business and foot traffic. The Jazz Market is a proud part of Central City’s redefinition as a bolder and brighter place. A venue as unique and multifaceted as the music that is played within, the Peoples Health New Orleans Jazz Market, is proud to be a revitalizing force in the thriving heart of the Big Easy.
At the Jazz Market, experiences are curated based on your vision for the event. Your event coordinator will customize a bespoke experience to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
