ABC Pest Management LLC is a full service company; that takes pride in our signature treatments. ABC Pest Management is the merger of two companies; ABC Termite & Pest Control, Inc & DuVal & Payne Exterminating Co, established in 1960 and 1956 respectively. We are a small, family-owned business that offers personalized service to each of our clients.
Our company maintains an active role in not only our local, Tidewater Pest Control Association but also in the state, Virginia Pest Management Association, as well. We, additionally, hold membership in the National Pest Management Association. Our solutions are based on years of experience in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area and extensive training in each area of expertise.

ABC Pest Management, LLC is the joint vision of Stacy Durfee’s 40 years of industry specific and leadership experience and Shane Scott’s 20 years of management and motivational experience.
Stacy moved to Virginia Beach in 1968, graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1982 and began her foray into the Pest Control industry in August of the same year at 18. She was fortunate to have been trained by someone who loved the industry and wanted others to love it as well. Stacy married her husband Joe, a U S Navy retiree, in 1996 and together they have five children, 3 daughters and 2 sons and four grandchildren, 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters with 1 grandson expected in April 2021. The family resides in Virginia Beach. In 2008 Stacy received her MBA in Finance and Accounting from American Intercontinental University and is currently working towards her Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership.
Shane was born and raised in Virginia Beach. He briefly moved to Chesapeake where he graduated from Deep Creek High School in 2005. Shane began working for Hardees in 2003 where, at the age of 17, he was promoted to management. In 2008, Shane embarked on a new career as a locksmith technician at Pop A Lock, managing a daily crew of up to 12 technicians. He can boast that he has managed not one but two multi-million dollar companies before joining ABC. Shane married his high school sweetheart, Suzanne, a registered nurse, in 2008 and together they have 1 son and are expecting a daughter in June 2021. The family resides in Norfolk. Shane is a 2016 graduate of Tidewater Community College and a 2019 graduate of Old Dominion University with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Our technical and office staffs are trained in the most current methods available. New pest management professionals are required to meet training benchmarks within specified periods. This shows their willingness to learn new treatment methods and ideas in this ever-evolving industry.
