The Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. In existence for more than 60 years, the orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings from September through May, and performs an annual concert series comprising 5 classical music concerts which are typically held on Sunday afternoons. At the present time, rehearsals take place at Temple Adath Israel in Lower Merion. Most concerts are held at the 1,500 seat Upper Darby Performing Arts Center in Drexel Hill.
