Skilled Nursing: Provides nursing care treatment and instruction to the patient and family, coordinating with all others involved in the patient’s care.
Physical Therapy: Helps the patient regain functional mobility, increase strength and improve range of motion with special treatment as prescribed by the physician.
Occupational Therapy: Increases the patient’s independence and ability to perform daily functions by teaching adaptive methods and the use of special equipment when necessary.
Speech Therapy: Plans and implements programs designed to improve communication skills of patients with language and speech impairments or defects and disorders of vocal or written communication arising from physiological disturbances and defective articulation.
Medical Social Workers Services: Helps the patient and family deal with financial and social problems that interfere with the patient’s recuperation or stability.
Home Health Aide: Assists the patient with activities of daily living such as bathing and personal hygiene, preparing and serving meals, light housekeeping and home exercise programs, as well as observes and reports changes in patient’s condition and needs.

If you feel you need any of our services and you are homebound requiring home-based care as prescribed by your doctor, just give us a call and a qualified Healthways representative will discuss our services and procedures with you. Different levels of treatment, therapy, training and education can be customized to a patient’s needs and may involve family, friends and caregiver if necessary.
Anyone can qualify for home care services as long as the criteria for admission to home care services are met. This will be determined by your physician and the skilled Healthways staff who will do an initial assessment. We also accept referrals from local hospitals, doctors’ offices, skilled nursing facilities, board and care facilities as well as from family and friends of individuals.
We provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our office hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. Our on-call personnel will take your call after office hours, on weekends and holidays to help you with your home health needs.
