HEBREW SCHOOL - We are very proud of the creative curriculum and the special programs that our children love so much. Our educational philosophy is that learning is much more than just sitting and listening; that what our students learn must be meaningful, and the way they learn must be fun. We offer a one day a week introductory class for children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Regular hebrew school for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders meets two days a week. Our 7th graders learn with the Rabbi twice a week, and study for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah with the Cantor. Our teachers are warm and caring; in addition we have a full complement of out of class activities each week; A state of the art computer lab, special programs (arts and crafts and baking; Israeli dance and music, guest speakers) and a reading specialist (to help our students master Hebrew reading). We teach a love of the Jewish tradition, and we put special emphasis ont he value of "Menschlichkeit" - having our children be caring, kind individuals.
We offer a wide array of social, cultural and educational programs, including:

*AN ANNUAL SCHOLAR IN RESIDENCE LECTURE
*MEN'S CLUB- Sponsors our Hanukah breakfast, Purim carnival, Men's night out, Golf outing, and business networking.
*SISTERHOOD - Sponsors our Sisterhood Shabbat, Monthly Rosh Chodesh women's group, Book discussion groups, jewelry making, Women's seder, Museum tours, Israeli dancing and Broadway shows.
*UJA AND ISRAEL BONDS EVENTS

*ISRAEL DAY PARADE
