Main St. Collision was founded in 1985 in Coupeville on beautiful Whidbey Island. It was here that owners Phillip Black and Rich Melrose saw a need for a reliable, quality collision repair facility, and so they began. As their business grew, the two gained a reputation for honesty and dependability among Island residents. Today Main St. Collision is well known for providing superior craftsmanship as well as excellent customer service. It was while attending technical College in Bellingham that Coupeville native Phillip Black met future business partner Rich Melrose. From there the two built their business from the ground up into the enterprise it is today. Expanding over the years, from their original location of a modest two car garage, at present Main St. Collision has repair centers on both North and Central Whidbey. Today between the two shops Main St. Collision employs over a dozen talented individuals who are proud to be part or the Main Street team. Together with a combined experience of over 65 years, we are able to generate quality, consistency and creativity that is passed on to our customers.
