Social Posts for Adoption Rhode Island The Adoption Rhode Island family is keeping the Silvia family in our heart as they go through this difficult time. Donna Silvia, our office manager, has been by her husband Jerry's side since he received a surprising and devastating diagnosis last month. Jerry had one wish, to create a musical video with his children and grandchildren to provide comfort and support to other people with cancer and to keep his ministry alive. The Silvia family rallied together to help make Jerry's wish come true. They want to share Jerry's message of hope and family love. Peace and love to Donna and her family during these final days of love. #family #music #hope

Adoption Rhode Island shared Hopefullri's post.
Thank you to Hopefullri for being ARI's ambassadors of hope and love !
Today HopefullRI received a donation of 100 backpacks stuffed with school supplies! We are SO very grateful to the parishioners at St.Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Woonsocket. Especially to Chris C who made this all possible. Their church along with other Ukrainian Orthodox Churches around the country fundraised and purchased supplies while getting their youth involved in helping with this project!Their motto is "Dedicated to our church-devoted to its youth". The foster children of Adoption Rhode Island will certainly feel all the love you have all put into this service project. We truly are honored and blessed to have such wonderful people helping HopefullRI

The ARI family enjoying a well-earned afternoon together in Newport after a highly accomplished week including, with the help of Lise Iwon and the Office of the Child Advocate, over 600 guests at our 2nd Annual Duffle Bag Bash; heart warming examples of kids formerly in foster care helping kids currently in care; an information meeting with over 40 attendees looking for more information about adopting children from foster care; and one of our Teen Focus stars earning a high school diploma...just to name a few highlights. It was a great day to rejuvenate, reflect, process, share some laughs and gear up for the future of marked accomplishments ahead.

Thank you so much to the hundreds of people who came out to support the 2nd Annual Duffle Bag Bash today! The turnout was incredible, as were the donors, sponsors, committee members, staff, volunteers, interns, etc. who helped make the day fun for all! Watch for photos and more thank you's in the coming week!

Are you upset and concerned about children in our foster care system after reading recent articles about the challenges they face in our system? There are many ways that you can help change our system to better meet the needs of our most vulnerable children. We need foster and adoptive families, mentors and volunteers to help these kids. One way you can make a tangible difference TODAY is to buy a new duffle bag, suit case or back pack and come down to Matunuck Beach Community Center. We also will accept gift cards or cash as admission to this fun, family friendly event. Everyone has something they can do to make a difference in a child's life. Come talk with the staff of ARI today and learn more about how you can become involved. Hope to see you later today. #FosterKidsOurKids
