Our decision to develop a new line of bear proof products and launch the BearSaver company was a natural outgrowth of the passion of our staff members for wildlife and outdoor recreation.
Among our staff are avid campers and outdoor enthusiasts, who spend much of their leisure time in the Sierras camping and hiking. They are very aware of and concerned about the growing problem of bears foraging for human food and the increasingly frequent unpleasant consequences.
When bears become accustomed to consuming human food, dangerous interactions between bears and people are often the result, and sometimes bears must be destroyed. We applied our many years of fabrication experience to this problem, guided by input from highly trained and experienced wildlife biologists.
This resulted in our new line of bear proof products.
