The Ellis County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. The organization strives to:
• Maintain a facility to receive neglected, abandoned or abused dogs and cats
• Offer compassion and a second chance to unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs and cats
• Reduce the number of unwanted pets through educating the public and arranging for low-cost spaying and neutering services
• Promote programs that teach humane education to Ellis County children
• Foster an appreciation for animals and the benefits that they bring to our lives through pet-friendly events and programs
