Franz Wollscheid started off working at Burger Chef when he first came over to America from Germany. He worked his way up the ranks until he became a GM. after that he moved on to work for Arby's. He opened the first Arby's in Columbus, Ohio and continued to learn from his experiences until he decided to give it a try himself. Franz and his family moved from Dayton to Washington Court House to open this location in 1979.
