This Saturday, February 11th, marks the twenty-fifth World Day of the Sick. People around the world will take the time to pray for the sick and for those who work to alleviate the sufferings of the sick on this day. This commitment to the suffering, ill and infirm is a part of CGS’s mission, which we fulfill through our different programs, including our Developmental Disability Services Program and Special Medical Foster Program. We are grateful to our dedicated staff for their solicitude to all our clients. Read more about World Sick Day in our February Newsletter: http://www.catholicguardian.org/newsletters/

Catholic Guardian Services employee Robbie Orlando shows the same commitment to the 'Feeding Our Neighbors' food drive as he does his career. Robbie has been a leader in Catholic Charities' annual food drive for 3 years and has worked at CGS for 33 years. “I believe that we all have a role in helping our fellow New Yorkers. I am lucky to be able to help others through my work at Catholic Guardian, but I also believe it is important to give more of myself when I can,” says Robbie. Congratulations to Catholic Charities on another successful food drive and helping to ensure that our neighbors in New York do not go hungry.
