We will be closed Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Regular gate hours will be in effect from 6am-9pm.

Our next auction will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 9:00am. As of today we have 2 units left.

You are all packed and the truck is loaded, your next stop is to the storage facility to put your personal property in the storage unit. Where do you begin? Pack all large items like couches, big chairs, tables etc at the back of the unit. Be sure to leave at least an inch of space for circulation between the wall and your items. Stack your boxes from heaviest to lightest as high as you can, safely. Be sure to use a ladder or stepping stool if needed. No matter what size unit you rent, be sure to leave some walking space or a small isle in your unit so you can get to your items a lot more easily. Try to utilize some of the items you are storing as storage itself. For instance, you can use dresser drawers for books, paperwork, small items. You could also use a deep freezer or refrigerator to store items like books, DVD’s, CD’s or anything that fits! Just be sure there is no moisture in refrigerator or deep freeze before storing items. Also, leave the door cracked for circulation. If you plan on coming to the storage unit frequently for items, try to plan accordingly by placing items you know you will need first at the front of the unit. Remember to label your boxes while packing and make a list of everything stored. This will come in handy when searching for that one item that you know you will need later. It will also come in handy for Insurance purposes if you were to have a claim. These are just a few tips for packing your items in your self storage unit. Be creative and have fun with it :)
