Every year since 1926 some of the best women amateurs in the world have traveled to Ormond Beach, Florida, each January to compete in the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur Golf Championship. The SALLY, as it has come to be known, is one of the longest-running women’s golf events in the United States.
From legends such as Patty Berg and Babe Zaharias to modern-day LPGA superstars such as Cristie Kerr, Lexi Thompson, Jessica Korda, and Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn, for 90 years the Sally has been an important proving ground on the way to the LPGA.
Attracting the best players from all over the world, the Sally is also a fun and free attraction in the beautiful and historic beach town of Ormond Beach, Florida.
