The Guild Shop of the Divine is a not-for-profit 501(c)3, resale shop located at 2009 Dunlavy. This charming shop carries consigned and donated furniture, jewelry, collectibles, household items, artwork, clothing and more! Not only does it serve a varied clientele from designers and collectors to bargain hunters and those in need, it also donates its proceeds to very worthwhile charities. The Guild Shop was founded in September, 1962. Over the years, the Guild Shop has given financial and in-kind assistance to numerous charities, but our primary beneficiary since 1965 has been St. James House, the Episcopal Diocesan Retirement Center in Baytown, TX, to whom we have given over $4 million. This contribution goes to aid those elderly who have run out of money toward the end of their life. In addition, we give $2,500 annually to the Episcopal Church Women of St. John the Divine. The Guild Shop has enjoyed tremendous success thanks to the hard work of over 150 committed volunteers and a very loyal group of customers.
