Friends of Animal Rescue is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization. We are the voice of the animals. Our primary role is to protect and care for the homeless or lost animals on South Padre Island. We provide resources to the City of South Padre Island that include operating a Texas licensed animal shelter and quarantine facility as well as a holding place for Island wildlife. We also assist individuals and other shelters by helping to place their animals.
