The Palm View Baptist Church started with a vision. In the 1940’s the Reeder family visualized a Baptist church in the Palm View area north of Palmetto.
In an unusual sequence of events, that vision became a reality. Mr Reeder’s father passed away and in his wallet was $ The Reeder family gave First Baptist Church of Palmetto this money for the purpose of purchasing land for a future church site. The land purchased was the first step in the creation of Palm View First Baptist Church.
