Joanna DeHart Photography is part of DeHart Companies Inc. It is owned and operated by husband and wife team of Marty and Joanna started the studio on June 1st, 2001. Our studio is 1/3 of our 3300 square foot home. We operate with a 35 x 15 foot camera room, as well as different settings on our acre wooded, landscaped lot. We see clients on an appointment basis, which makes our operating hours varied and flexible.

We offer a wide variety of services. Portraits of all types are taken in our studio and on the grounds. Individual, family, and corporate portraits are also done on location. Marty and Joanna photograph weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate and other events, together or separately. We have a number of pre-schools as twice a year clients. We photograph several swim, and baseball teams. Throughout the year we photograph various club events at Charlotte Country Club, Myers Park Country Club, Providence Country Club, Quail Hollow Country Club, Carmel Country Club, and Pine Lake Country also provide commercial and architechtual photography.

Joanna worked for Phil Aull Studio for 20 years, and ran her own studio in San Francisco for 8 years. Between Joanna and Marty is a combined 67 years of behind the camera experience. Marty is also very proficent in Photoshop. He has designed CD covers, business cards, and other marketing materials for clients.

All of our clients are special and valued, but we have had the opportunity to work for/with numerous local, national, and political celebrities.
