Alexander+Roberts, founded in 1947, is one of America’s oldest tour companies. The company’s guiding philosophy originated at the Geneva Peace Conference following the Second World War with a mission to build bridges of understanding between North America and Eastern Europe. Alexander+Roberts is a founding member of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) and a staunch defender of consumers’ rights in travel. As a USTOA member, Alexander+Roberts has posted a one million dollar bond to protect travelers’ payments.

Alex Harris, who has been internationally recognized as one of the deans of travel and tourism, and a pioneer in developing overseas destinations for Americans, founded the company in 1947. As Chairman of Alexander+Roberts, Mr. Harris remained active in the company until his passing in 2013. Alexander+Roberts' current president, Robert Drumm, is a lifelong travel professional.
