At the Holston High School Horticulture Department, we are dedicated to developing students’ horticultural aptitude and skills for the future. We host a variety of plant sales including a fall, winter, and spring sale, where we develop our students’ skills with the public and marketing. When we aren’t just selling plants, we’re planting seedlings, sowing seeds, landscaping the school, designing flower arrangements, and planning for the next plant sale. This helps develop our students’ work ethic and prepares them for the rigorous and unpredictable life they have ahead of them.
