The ministries of the Children At Heart family – Texas Baptist Children's Home, Miracle Farm, Gracewood and STARRY – share a vision of helping children and families achieve their God-given potential.
Gracewood, our ministry to motivated single mothers and their children in Houston, is expanding to meet the pressing needs of an estimated 400,000 single parent households, with many living at the poverty level.
Miracle Farm, located in Washington County’s rolling hills, turns troubled teenaged boys into responsible young men through a ministry based on traditional western values, horsemanship, hard work, and faith.
STARRY is reaching out to families through its fast-growing parenting and foster-to-adopt programs, while continuing to meet the everyday needs of abused and neglected children.
Texas Baptist Children’s Home continues to serve the needs of children on campus, but a changing society has led to a nationally recognized ministry to single mothers and their children and programs to help lower income families in the community.
The Children At Heart Foundation, which provides fundraising, estate planning and communications services at no cost to each of the ministries, is positioned to meet greater needs in the communities we serve.
