United Way of Greater Union County

We will accomplish our mission by providing strategic leadership, forging and leveraging partnerships, and by securing the resources necessary to develop and implement lasting solutions to critical health and human services needs and their root causes.

Recognizing the diverse community in which it operates, United Way of Greater Union County does the following to achieve its mission:

• Identifies the health and human services needs of the residents of Greater Union County and advocates for and secures funding and other resources for solution to the root causes of those needs.

• Creates and implements programs and services that effectively address and solve the health and human services needs of those in the community of Greater Union County.

• Invests in "family strengthening" by working to ensure that every Union County family has the necessary opportunities, relationships and networks to succeed.

• Strengthens agencies by providing counsel, training, resources and funding for programs and services that effectively address and solve the health and human services needs of the community.

• Enables policy makers to make informed and timely decisions by providing data, expertise and referrals.

• Provides community leaders, institutions, companies, and individuals with opportunities to engage with UWGUC's mission through giving programs and grants, activities, and volunteer programs.
