RANGE RULES: • ALL FIREARMS MUST BE TREATED AS IF THEY ARE ALWAYS LOADED! • NEVER LET THE MUZZLE OF A FIREARM POINT AT ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY! • KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER AND OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON YOUR TARGET AND YOU ARE PREPARED TO SHOOT! • ALWAYS BE CERTAIN OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND! • UNCASED FIREARMS MUST BE KEPT AT THE FIRING LINE AT ALL TIMES! CASE AND UNCASE THEM AT THE LINE ONLY!!!!! • Steel, armor piercing, tracer, and military surplus ammunition is prohibited. Ammunition will be inspected and tested by the Range Staff. A violation of this rule could result in permanent barring from the range. • Only load your firearm when you are on the firing line, keeping the muzzle pointed downrange at all times. Keep actions open when not shooting with ejection side up on semi autos. • Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range. • No Rapid Fire without prior approval from the Range Manager or a Range Officer. • A maximum of two people are allowed per shooting position at a time, and only one may shoot at a time. All others must be behind the red ready line. • Only regulation paper targets are allowed on the range. The Managers and Range Officers reserve the right to prohibit targets that are deemed to be offensive. Use appropriately sized targets and keep them at eye level to ensure that the bullets will enter the trap. • No handgun drawing from a holster is allowed without the prior approval of the Range Manager or a Range Officer. • If you have a malfunction or a jam that you cannot clear, lay the firearm on the bench while keeping the muzzle pointed downrange, and ask a Range Officer for assistance. Never remove a jammed or malfunctioning firearm from the range without prior approval from the Manager or a Range Officer. • When you finish shooting, unload and re-case your firearm before leaving the shooting position. • Pick up only your brass that is behind the firing line, and please place your trash in the receptacle. • Never extend any part of your body forward of the firing line for any reason. • Wash your hands each time you leave the range and before smoking, eating or drinking.
