Steeped in the tradition of a workingman’s club, the Milton Yacht Club has an active boat yard where members maintain their vessels, including several hand- made wooden boats, continuing a tradition of almost 400 years on the Neponset River of Massachusetts. Boats are launched and hauled on the historic marine railway. The members are active in the community and in protecting and preserving the Neponset River.
