Hamilton Anderson was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1994 when architect Rainy Hamilton, Jr. partnered with planner and landscape architect Kent Anderson. Together they founded Hamilton Anderson with a simple premise: as architect and landscape architect, and as two individuals from radically different beginnings, they would pool their talents, personalities and backgrounds to build a firm that values unity over uniformity.
Today, HAA has evolved with emerging, dynamic leaders whose design acumen stretches across a wide array of professional design services, including planning, urban design, architecture and landscape architecture. The firm includes a diverse group of design professionals working collaboratively to create compelling, inspirational and sustainable projects, to make a positive, lasting impact on our communities.
