Excel Pilates DC is owned by expert teacher Lesa McLaughlin, a 2nd generation certified Pilates teacher trained under the tutelage of Romana Kyzanowska at The Pilates Studio in New York.
Lesa has been teaching Pilates for 21 years and has been a teacher of dance and exercise since 1980.
Excel Pilates DC has operated in the heart of the vibrant and diverse neighborhood of Brookand in NE DC for over 19 years. It was the very first Pilates studio in the District and the first studio to offer a certified Teacher Training Program.
At Excel Pilates DC we offer Pilates for every body and every budget. We offer a range of options, from personalized instruction to group classes, which can be found on our Sessions and Classes page. We are a fully equipped studio, with Reformers, Cadillacs, wall units/towers, Wunda Chairs and mats.
