Founded by farmers in 1988, Blackberry Patch harvested local fruits and used time-honored Southern techniques to make jams, jellies and syrups. The company’s goal then was the same as it is now: to make handmade, small batch, high-quality, goods using real fruits and family recipes. In 1999, a pair of entrepreneurs with more than 40 years of combined business and food industry experience, acquired Blackberry Patch and began expanding the product assortment, as well as pursuing wider distribution. Today, as a result of their efforts, Blackberry Patch products are sold across the country in leading department stores, specialty food stores, resorts, mail order catalogs, and through our all-new online shop.
Blackberry Patch is equally committed to operating in the spirit of stewardship. For us, stewardship means being responsible for protecting something valuable to our team and our community.
To fulfill our commitment to stewardship, a portion of the profits from Blackberry Patch goes to support these charities: Marion Medical Missions, providing clean water in developing nations; and The Gideons, bringing the Word of God to millions each year.
