Our clinic was established by Dr. Virender Sodhi in June of 1989 who was later joined by his brother Dr. Shailinder Sodhi and his brother's wife Dr. Anju Sodhi. The Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Medical Clinic is a world leader in providing the best complementary and alternative medicine available.
Dr. Virender Sodhi is an internationally acclaimed Ayurvedic and Naturopathic physician. He has lectured extensively all over the world and has been published in numerous medical journals and other respected publications such as the Townsend Letter for Doctors; Naturopathic Medicine; the Botanical Medicine Journal; the Natural Textbook Of Natural Medicine; the Washington Post; the World and I and many more. He is the most quoted doctor in, “Alternative Medicine, The Definitive Guide”.
Our patients come from all over the country and all over the world to take advantage of our services. Our clinic has enjoyed great success since its founding. Our biggest source of new patients is referrals from satisfied existing patients. We are extremely proud of our growth and success creating happy and healthy patients. Our healing philosophy is based on traditional Ayurvedic principals, the continuous pursuit of good health by creating mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health through balanced nutrition, exercise, yoga, meditation, and stress reduction techniques. We provide our patients the coaching they need to achieve optimal balanced health.
All our doctors have six years of Ayurvedic medical training from prestigious Ayurvedic Medical institutions in India and all are also trained Naturopathic Physicians. All our doctors have graduated from Bastyr University, a world famous natural medicine training institute. Our doctors are also on the faculty at Bastyr University, National Naturopathic College, Southwest Naturopathic College, and the University of Washington.
With the recent changes in laws governing Naturopathic physicians, our doctors can now prescribe all the medications (including controlled schedule VI and schedule V drugs). This lets us provide a unique mix of traditional Ayurvedic practices and medicines and more familiar traditional western medications to optimally treat each patient's unique needs.
