We are a small practice that’s focused on two goals: first to protect the health of your eyes, second to improve the appearance of your eyes. We provide state of the art medical and surgical treatments for various eye diseases such as cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and glaucoma. Dr. Sastry is a board certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in eyelid and facial surgery. Hence, he is one of a few hundred plastic surgeons in the US who is uniquely qualified to treat various eyelid diseases including skin cancer, drooping eyelids, tear duct blockage, thyroid eye disease and cosmetic issues concerning the appearance of your eyes. Dr. Sastry is frequently consulted by other plastic surgeons and other specialists for his expertise. Cosmetic procedures including upper and lower lid blepharoplasty (for excess eyelid skin and puffy, baggy eyes) are performed safely in the office surgical suite.
