Pathway Christian Church

Pathway Christian Church is a non-denominational church. We simply follow the teaching of Jesus found in the Bible and follow the example of the early church found in the New Testament.

Our Beliefs:
GOD: god is eternal; he created the universe, and the father, son and holy spirit are the godhead (three in one). (matthew 28:19; john 1:1-14, 14:16, 26; colossians 1:1; I corinthians 8:6; hebrews 1:1-2)

Jesus: Jesus is the son of god, was born of a virgin, sinless, died on the cross for our sins, was raised from the dead on the third day, and is coming again. (philippians 2:5-8; hebrews 4:14-15; I peter 2:21-24; I corinthians 15:3-5; john 14:1-6; romans 8:31-34; luke 1:26-35; ephesians 1:18-23, 5:23; acts 1:9-11)

The Holy Spirit: the holy spirit is the spirit of god and comes to live in each believer at baptism. he enables them to be like christ and empowers them for ministry. (acts 2:38; john 16:5-15; 1 corinthians 12:4-11; galatians 5:16-25)

The Bible: the bible is the inspired word of god, without error, and is the standard and authority for all generations. ( I thessalonians 2:13; john 17:17; II timothy 3:16-17)

People: every person has worth as a creation of God. We are all in need of a savior because we have all sinned. (john 3:16; romans 3:23)

Salvation: salvation is a free gift from God because of his grace alone and that in order to receive this gift we must submit to god in obedience through: belief (mark 16:16); repentance (acts 2:38); confession (romans 10:8-10) and baptism by immersion (acts 2:38; 22:16)

The Church: the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the holy spirit through God’s word, and exists to reach out to the lost and edify the saved.
